The SimpleDiag 14 (SD14) Software is a tool designed for customers who want to perform advanced diagnostics on newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles (2019+), such as:
- W907/118/177/167
- W213/238/257/463/290
These vehicles have a diagnostic firewall that prevents you from making adaptations or variant coding without the diagnostic functionality. The SD14 software works in conjunction with Vediamo/DTS Monaco/Xentry and uses an OBD2 Y-Adapter to disable the firewall and automatically detect if it is active and its type for the unlock.
By connecting the Vediamo/DTS Monaco and SimpleDiag interfaces with the OBDII-Y adapter, you can use the combined power of both software to diagnose your Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
